darcspublish is a shell script that allows you to easily share your Darcs repository between different computers, give read access to the world, or publish a Web site that is backed by a Darcs repository on your computer. It should work with any Bourne shell, and only needs Darcs and sitecopy to work.
muser lists processes which have a given directory (or cwd if not specified) as a parent of their current working directory (thus making it impossible to unmount that directory if it is a mount point). This script has overlapping functionality with the fuser program from the psmisc package, but has the advantage that it works on SMB mounts. Additionally, it provides a color, formatted listing of process IDs, executable names, current working directories, and the command lines used to run the programs. It works with varying-sized /proc/*/cwd fields.
dispatch is a multi-tier architecture object-oriented framework that allows access to methods and variables at the command line and in shell scripts or via a GUI. It contains classes that deal with configuration management. It tries to unify similar configuration semantics syntactically.
smupcheck, which stands for Smart Update Checker, checks Web sites for updates automatically, even if they don't offer an RSS feed. It is a very basic tool, and does not offer advanced features such as checking password-protected Web sites, highlighting changes, or filtering results.
songanizer is a script to organize a directory containing Ogg and MP3 files. The script accepts a list of directories in which the real Ogg and MP3 files reside. It then reads information like author, album, and genre from the files' ID3 tags and creates parallel directory structures which just contain symbolic links to the directories in which the real files live. The goal is to create virtual directory structures which give different views of the data without having redundant copies of the files themselves.
prc utilises a pioneer control out port and a sound card to make the keypresses on a pioneer remote control available to the computer. With additional scripts or programs, it is possible to control your computer without additional hardware, like infrared receivers. It features automatic noise level detection, and it is independent from the sound architecture used.
espgame.sh is a script designed to experiment with ESP powers in a playful way. It might just as well be used as a guessing-game. Images can be either guessed or predicted. Based on the user input during the game, in the end a simple analysis expressed in percentages is calculated. On www.supple-pixels.net there is an archive containing images with which to play.
dirogg is a small script to migrate your entire music collection to the Ogg Vorbis format. It's a recursive script, meaning that you run it from the root of your music collection, and it will automatically convert your MP3 files to Ogg Vorbis (ogg) files. If you wish, it can also remove your MP3 files after conversion.
