Ada Util is a collection of utility packages for Ada 2005. Several packages are inspired from Java packages and libraries (Java properties, log4j, listeners, streams). The library provides a logging framework, a serialization/deserialization framework for XML, JSON, CSV, an Ada beans framework, a composition stream framework (raw, files, buffers, pipes, sockets), several concurrency tools (reference counters, counters, pools, fifos, arrays), a REST client framework, and more.
Airtime lets you take total control of your radio station via the Web with intelligent archive management, powerful search, an easy playlist builder, a simple scheduling calendar, and rock-solid automated playout. Features include fades, cues, playlists, a programme calendar, Icecast, Shoutcast, and Soundcloud integration, DJ and station manager roles, JQuery widgets, Liquidsoap playout, and a record and rebroadcast functionality. Powerful media archive features 'watch' folders to allow stations to magically synchronize files, auto-import files, and has multiple directory support. Users can interact with it through any Web browser. It comes with an 'easy install' package.
Internet DJ console is a graphical shoutcast/icecast client that runs under GTK+ and the JACK audio connection kit. In short, it's an Internet radio app for making a live radio show or podcast. Features include two main media players with a crossfader, a jingle player, microphone signal processing (compressor and noise gate), IRC track announcements with X-Chat, an automatic stream shut-off timer, MP3 or Ogg streaming and recording at various bit rates, aux input for connecting external JACK aware applications, and audio level meters.
Mumudvb is a program that redistributes streams from DVB on a network using multicast or HTTP unicast. Its main feature is to multicast a whole DVB transponder by assigning each channel a different multicast Group. It can operate Conditional Access Modules (CAM), and therefore works with encrypted streams. It has very low CPU and memory usage.
PASAP runs in the background, checking whether a stream exists, and, if it does, plays it. It was originally written to play back audio provided by MPD in remotely networked locations, but it also allows consumer-grade HD decoders (WDTV) to automatically play back audio/video streams from an HTTP address.
Pyrit takes a step ahead in attacking WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK, the protocols that protect today's public WiFi-airspace. Pyrit's implementation allows you to create massive databases, pre-computing part of the WPA/WPA2-PSK authentication phase in a space-time-tradeoff. The performance gain for real-world-attacks is in the range of three orders of magnitude, which urges for re-consideration of the protocol's security. It exploits the computational power of multiple cores and other platforms through ATI-Stream, Nvidia CUDA, OpenCL, and VIA Padlock. It is a powerful attack against one of the world's most used security-protocols.
Pyjama is an (unofficial) client for Jamendo, the free music community. It helps you to browse through Jamendo's database in order to find new albums. You can stream the music, create playlists, sort the albums by rating and tag, rate each track, and star albums you like most. An integrated Firefox instance helps you to interact with the Jamendo community.
Zina is a graphical interface to your MP3 collection, a personal jukebox, a Podcaster, and an MP3 streamer. It includes an optional Flash player, a tag editor, and can search the Web for album art and song lyrics. It can run alone, be embedded into an existing Web site, or be used as a module in Drupal, Joomla, and Wordpress.
The DUP System is a language for productive, parallel, and distributed stream processing on POSIX systems. Programming with DUP is similar to writing shell scripts with pipes except that filters can have multiple inputs and outputs. Furthermore, the computation can be spread across multiple computers. A distinguishing characteristic of DUP compared to other streaming languages is that filters can be written in almost any programming language. The DUP System distribution includes the runtime system and a collection of over a dozen multi-stream filters.
