The Net-Policy project allows system administrators to configure and manage their entire network at once. It is initially designed to configure firewall and IPsec connections across an entire network, but will eventually include the ability to control and configure just about anything. It uses a role and policy based data-model concept so reconfiguring a device usually just means assigning or removing a role to/from it. Initially the software comes with a completely configurable IPsec and IKE software suite for Linux. Stop configuring your network one device at a time!

FireStorm/DAO is a Java Code Generator that can import existing database schemas (from a SQL script or from a live JDBC connection) and can then generate a complete persistence tier. It generates Java source code and configuration files that developers would otherwise have to write by hand, and that is compliant with the Data Access Object (DAO) design pattern.

xml2sql-v is based on expat and is a quick and dirty solution to transform the content of any well-formed XML file into SQL INSERT statements such that you can postprocess the content of the XML data with SQL. The XML file is neither tested for correctness nor is it checked to contain anything reasonable. The insert statements will have the UTF-8 characterset but there are 3 more utilities (entityfix, latin1-utf8, and utf8-latin1), to fix broken HTML entities within the XML files, convert "forgotten" Latin1-Characters into proper XML entities, and convert the output back to Latin1 for easy insertion into the database.

It was designed to organize small self-financed networks, but is mature enough to suit the needs of medium sized ISPs. Support for multiple databases and languages are included, and a template system allows it to blend in with your existing infrastructure.

Dragon Lair is a knowledge base system based on Topic Maps Technology. Data Elements are represented as topics and subjects and put into relationships with each other. Since these relations are data independent, Dragon Lair can be put on top of an existing database or be used as a graphical representation of a new data source. Dragon Lair "sits" directly upon the Dragon Breath framework for reliable and easy data manipulation, sanity check, and data exchange.
