    Release Notes: This release introduces a new kind of indexes called "path indexes" that allow more detailed specification of what nodes to index and also allow multiple values to be used as index keys. Statements in XQuery were updated. Blobs were made versionable. Meta data fields can be made non-versionable. Cache sharing is done among federation. Several performance enhancements were done.

      Release Notes: This release focuses on speed: storing has been made 2.5 times as fast, and retrieval can be over 5 times as fast. Full text indexing features were added and are integrated with the XQuery support.

        Release Notes: Memory usage with large sets of documents was improved. The XQuery API was improved. Database file management in the Administrator client was improved. Several bugfixes were made.

          Release Notes: This version features easier database setup and requires less administration. By default, you no longer have to specify container pools for new databases, and databases extend automatically as they grow. Bugfixes, conformance improvements and performance improvements have been made in XQuery.
