Projects / WiredX

WiredX is an X Window System server written in pure Java(tm). WiredX enables you to access UNIX/X applications from all web browsers with Java Plug-in. WiredX accepts X window protocols directly, so you don't need any proxy program. Its "beta" and "Lite" versions are available for non-commercial/commercial use without fee.

Release Notes: WiredX-Lite runs on JDK 1.1.* and Swing. We intend to provide it to Unix/X users, whose platform is not supported by Java2 and Java Plug-in, so it is provided as an application(and an applet). Of course, this release runs on Gnu/Linux and you can check easily that it is an X Server.
