WebBot is a flexible IRC bot written in C that is capable of extracting information from Web sites (including searchable sites) by using regular expression patterns. WebBot has full HTTP POST and GET support and will follow URL redirects. Some of the Web sites predefined in the included config file include google, everything2, yahoo weather and finance, babelfish, a dictionary, and a thesaurus.

    Release Notes: A null pointer dereference when the bot's nickname is said in a channel with nothing following it was corrected, Babelfish translation was added to the search file, and a new type of variable can now be used in the URL string to indicate a specific word and everything following it in the search term.

      Release Notes: In this release, HTML entity characters are now dealt with properly, there is improved interaction with IRC servers, a bug which caused the bot to always return search results on the first IRC server was fixed, and the documentation was rewritten.
