Projects / wavemon

wavemon is a ncurses-based monitor for wireless devices. It allows you to watch the signal and noise levels, packet statistics, device configuration, and network parameters of your wireless network hardware. It has currently only been tested with the Lucent Orinoco series of cards, although it should work (with varying features) with all devices supported by the wireless kernel extensions written by Jean Tourrilhes.

Release Notes: This release added a summary status line that presents summary statistics and added additional keyboard shortcuts for each screen to cope with terminals that remap the function keys. The shortcut is now the first character of the screen's name (F1: i, F2: l, F3: s, F7: p, F8: h, F9: a, F10: q). A work-around for terminals with broken terminfo entries was added (e.g. old aterm). The vt100 PF1..4 sequences are now supported.
