UDIG (User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS) is a spatial data viewer and editor with emphasis on the OpenGIS standards for Internet GIS, the Web Map Server and Web Feature Server standards. It provides a common platform for building spatial applications with open source components.

    Release Notes: This point release includes new functionality and some great usability improvements, with a new tool palette and easy-to-access tool options.

      Release Notes: The ability to export to a georeferenced image was added. Common Query Language selection was added to Table View. Numerous bugs were fixed.

        Release Notes: Major Edit Tool fixes, small UI clean ups, and a fix for the Windows installer. This release uses Eclipse 3.3.

          Release Notes: This release is improved for maps with many label layers. It has a styler for the Grid MapGraphic that allows the graphic to be customized on a per-layer basis. ArcSDE support has been fixed. There are bugfixes for the editing.

            Release Notes: Layer Export now supports the option to export the layer in a different projection, has improved progress monitoring, and has improved stability. Table view now supports selecting all. Code speedups have been added in the rendering of a selection.
