TomOS is a simple 16-bit operating system for x86. It is based on MikeOS version 2.0.0. It is entirely written in assembly language. TomOS is an educational project. It features mouse support, 8KB RAM available for applications, FAT 12 support, and approximately 70 system calls.


Recent releases

    Release Notes: FAT12 directory support was added (but only for listing a directory's content). The new programs "DIR" and "CD" were added. A few new system calls were added. A few minor improvements were made.

      Release Notes: The building script has been modified. The code responsible for FAT12 read/write has been modified. There are small fixes.
