Release Notes: The correction release number (.3) is caused by problems detected during the release work of version 1.2.0. New features, enhancements: shortcuts can be user defined; events now have a progress attribute; a find feature for categories with Ctrl+F when the mouse is in the category tree; event duration is displayed in the status bar; and an alert dialog appears on top and beeps when shown. There are some bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release changes Century labeling, removes Century 0, and adds menus for Zoom In and Zoom Out, menus for vertical Zoom In and vertical Zoom Out, a numeric Timeline, and a new category tree in the sidebar.
Release Notes: This release fixes events disappearing when zooming.
Release Notes: After about 4.5 years in development, timeline 1.0.0 is released. The main reason for the major version change is that this release can no longer read files produced with versions before 0.10.0 (released over 3 years ago). The other big thing in 1.0.0 is that the experimental support for dates before year 0 is no longer experimental. Large parts of the date handling have been rewritten, partly to be able to support BC dates in a better way.
Release Notes: This release added features for setting categories on selected events, and on events without a category. An 'Import' feature that makes it possible to merge timelines was added. An 'Edit Event' menu was added. Preferences can now be set when no timeline exists. The selected events list is now reset when selected events are deleted.
This is an excellent little timeline utility! Yes, it is basic, but it is stable and extremely useful. If your timeline needs to be presented with flair and a fanciful visual style, you are better off using some sort of painting package. If you want to create and manage timelines where the emphasis is on the data and its chronology, this is a great choice. Thanks!
