Elmedia Player

Elmedia Player is media player for Mac. It is also an advanced player of Flash movies and video. It supports playback of multiple popular formats in the free version and can download online videos from multiple Web sites in the Pro version, including streaming videos (over RTMP) and videos embedded via HTML5. Elmedia Player features a built-in Web browser, so you can browse through a Web site and watch online media without leaving the application. Elmedia Player can manage media files with its convenient media library, usual and smart playlists, and more.

    Release Notes: Streaming videos transferred over plain RTMP can now be captured. Blocking of pop-up windows can now be managed from Elmedia's main menu.

      Release Notes: The possibility to download online videos that are embedded in a Web page via HTML5, QuickTime plugin, or Flip4Mac plugin was added. Playback of VCD files (.dat videos) was added. Playback of Xiph-encoded files (Ogg/Vorbis, Theora videos) was added. The possibility to run full-screen video on one monitor and work with Elmedia playlist on another was added.

        Release Notes: Most popular media formats are now supported. Downloading of media content from the Web was added (PRO version). Creation and smart management of playlists was implemented along with Growl and browser integration. There were many other new features and enhancements, improvements to performance, stability, and usability, and a new interface and a new name.

          Release Notes: This release added the ability to choose a background color for FLV files and to disable the screensaver during full-screen playback.

            Release Notes: This release improves stability of the "Download online Flash movies" option and estimation of FLV movie duration during playback. It fixes a player crash which occurred when the "Download online Flash movies" option was applied, and several minor bugs.
