Super Grub2 Disk

Super Grub2 Disk is a bootable floppy, CDROM, or USB system which lets you boot into your system. It is simply a Grub2 disk with a lot of useful menus. It can try to autodetect all of your operating systems, load your grub.cfg configuration file, and load grub2's core.img, even if the mbr is damaged. It has multi-language support.

    Release Notes: This is the first stable release in more than three years. A new Everything option has been added to find all your Operating Systems in your computer. The user interface was completely redesigned so there is a consistent layout among all the options. There are builds available for different target and platform combinations (i386-pc, x86_64-efi, i386-coreboot, etc.). Support for chainloading EFI files has been added. An option for mounting encripted volumes (LUKS and geli) has been added. Support for booting more Operating Systems has been added, and a lot of bugs have been fixed.

      Release Notes: The Mac OS X boot entry was fixed so that it boots again. Some extra boot parameters were added to the aforementioned Mac OS X boot entry. Finally, some menu entry boot parameters were double quoted to avoid problems in the future with variables with spaces on them.

        Release Notes: The Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) detection subsystem was improved to detect all the lower and upper case combinations of efi file extensions and ESP directories. That improvement allows Super Grub2 Disk to find its own EFI extension-based released files.

          Release Notes: The operating system detection script now always shows the operating system partition. A bug that avoided proper EFI detection was fixed. New standalone images for: x86_64-efi, i386-efi, i386-coreboot, and i386-ieee1275 are available. A bug that made translations not show correct characters was fixed. The Spanish translation was updated to match the newest options. Some minor design improvements were implemented.

            Release Notes: A new option named "grub.cfg - Extract entries" was added. This option enables the loading of grub.cfg entries even if they were set up with a 0-second timeout by default. A new Exit menu enables the user to halt or reboot the machine. Among other improvements to the UI, the user can now see which option has been selected, and it is easier to return to previous menus.
