Softgun is an embedded system emulator. It emulates an ARM9 CPU with MMU, Renesas R8C/M16C/M32C, Atmel AVR, PCI bus, IC-Bus, network controllers, Flash, SD-Cards, and CAN-Bus.

    Release Notes: This release adds simulation of the Renesas M16C CPU. Because the shared library loader is no longer required, softgun now also runs on Windows hosts under Cygwin.

          Release Notes: This release adds HP Deskjet 460 emulation with a PCL3GUI interpreter, many high capacity SD cards, and ZRLE compression to the built-in VNC server.

            Release Notes: This release adds emulation of the Atmel AT91RM9200 CPU and the FS-Forth UNC90 development board. It is verified to run the binaries delivered with the LxNETES cross development tools without error. Warning: the command line arguments and the path to the configuration files have changed with this release.
