shntool is a multi-purpose WAVE data processing and reporting utility that supports various lossless audio formats. These include SHN (shorten), FLAC, AIFF (sox), APE (mac), OFR (OptimFROG), LPAC, WV (WavPack), ALAC, LA, TTA, TAK, MKW, MPEG-4 ALS, Bonk, and KXS (Kexis).

    Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that prevented use of the -d option in cat mode, and corrects terminal issues in the Win32 build.

            Excellent tool
            I've been looking for exactly such a tool. This has already saved me an incredible amount of time, and spared me the dramas of writing a homegrown utility which would have been an inferior product by comparison.
