PostgreSQL Session Save Handler

The PostgreSQL Session Save Handler is a C program that allows you to use a PostgreSQL database to store PHP session data. The session module that is included with PHP4 can accomplish the same thing via its 'user' save handler, but it is much slower than using this program. PostgreSQL Session Save Handler is more than 2 times faster than the equivalent session save handler written as a PHP script.
