Secure Data Manager (SDM) is a full-featured password manager application written entirely in Java (so it can run on Unix or Windows). It encrypts logins and other private information for Web sites, computers, credit cards, etc.

    Release Notes: New features include an undo/redo feature, a right-click popup menu for entries, and easy copy/paste from entry fields. The GUI was improved. The "other" field can be mult-lined by pressing enter. Table columns now remember their location and size.

      Release Notes: There is a plugin architecture to support selectable encryption algorithms, a plugin architecture for Preferences (all preferences will be stored as XML and loaded on startup) and a feature to organize entries by type. This release will show only the data you need. You can customize user defined types via typeMapping.xml. Usability is improved. There are GUI improvements and usability improvements like the Preference's Apply/Cancel buttons, easier maintenance of email messages and categories, confirmation on message deletion, and launching a browser from entries that have URLs. There are some bugfixes.
