SCaVis is an environment for scientific computation, data analysis, and data visualization designed for scientists, engineers, and students. The program can be used for function and data plotting in 2D and 3D, histograms, statistical analysis, and symbolic calculations using the Matlab/Octave high-level interpreted language.

    Release Notes: Support for the Redberry computer algebra system, adaptive histograms (H1DA class in jhplot), Trove version 3.03, calculations with units (Tools->Unit calculations), an included and corrected start-up scripts, corrected unit conversion tools, and a Kalmar filter.

        Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. The code assist was fixed. Several libraries were corrected. Faster startup.

          Release Notes: This release adds faster package caching, the new packages Jas algebra library, SymJa, astrolib, JOptima, JOptimizers, and JPop, and support for DIF files (HFileDIF) and CSV files (HFileCSV).

            Release Notes: Plotted shapes can now be rotated. This release adds support for 3D mathematical shapes and fits of data using circles and ellipses.
