SAGATOR is an email antivirus/antispam gateway. It is an interface to any smtpd that runs an antivirus and/or spam checker. Its modular architecture can use any combination of antivirus/spam checkers according to configuration. It currently supports ClamAV, nod32d, AVG, Sophos, TrendMicro AV, Symantec AV, Spamassassin, bogofilter, and quickspamfilter. It has some internal checkers (string_scanner and regexp_scanner). It can parse MIME mail and decompress archives.

    Release Notes: This release updates the drop interscanner default pattern. Sanesecurity spam and junk emails will be dropped by default, because they are mostly viruses. This update can also be made manually in older configuration files.

      Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. Compilation on the newest clamav and some other minor things have been fixed.

        Release Notes: This release can be compiled on ClamAV 0.96. It fixes a bug in webq (updating is required if you use webq with users in a non-view table). The cracklib error string was fixed. "Suspect" has been added to the default DROP pattern.

          Release Notes: This version has been updated to run well on Python 2.6 and with clamav 0.95+. There are some performance improvements, especially in greylist service, which now can run on high load servers too. KID templates have been replaced by genshi, since genshi is faster and has better support on Linux distributions.

            Release Notes: Clamav 0.94 compatibility updates were made. clamav autodetection was improved. SELinux updates were made. An enhanced listed scanner (elisted) was added. Many more changes were made.
