Rxvt is an 8-bit clean, colour xterm replacement that uses significantly less memory than a conventional xterm, mostly since it doesn't support toolkit configurability or Tek graphics, but also since features can be removed at compile-time to reflect your needs.

    Release Notes: Security fixes were made for the screen dump feature (removed), menubar access through escape sequences, and title and icon name reporting. A Cygwin port was added, and minor bugfixes have been made.

          Release Notes: This release contains many fixes. Slipwheel scrolling, user specified linespace, and pasting support for SECONDARY and CLIPBOARD selections have all been added. Locale dependent default font selection has been improved.

            Our beloved RXVT is alive ;) We are currently rebuilding the community and developers are already queuing up exciting new features for 2.8!
