RRDtool (Round Robin Database Tool) is time-series data storage and graphing utility created by the author of MRTG. Using RRDtool, you can write your own MRTG-like tools in a matter minutes with only a few lines of Perl or shell code.

    Release Notes: zero open bugs in the rrdtool bugtracker. A long-standing rrdgraph memory leak has been fixed. rrdcached stability has been improved. There are rrdgraph-libdbi fixes, improved compilation on Win32 platforms, and more.

      Release Notes: Improved portability (especially to Solaris 8/9/10). Several fixes to the rrd cached infrastructure. Memory leak in compute DS have been fixed. The Win32 port has been updated. There are compilation fixes for OS X.

            Release Notes: This release features a drastic speedup for Holt-Winters RRDs. Front-ends relying on output from graph --lazy work again. A segfault in updatev on 32-bit platforms was fixed.
