Release Notes: Threading-related memory leaks have been fixed, and this release uses 1/100 the amount of memory that 1.2.0 did. The remerge cache creation code has been rewritten, and the slowest part of syncing should be faster by a huge amount. Large portions have been rewritten to utilize more memory and speed efficient code; every single line has been checked and double-checked for optimum performance. A queue has been added where you can watch the status of each pending action and all completed actions.

Release Notes: This release uses CSS for the formatting of its pages, minimizing the amount of data transfer needed between remerge and the browser, but also allowing for different themes. Themes are included for Gentoo (the old purple theme), SuSE, and Fedora/Red Hat. A number of huge changes have been made to the underlying structure, allowing multiple pages to be loading at once (a big no-no before), and making it much more stable and reliable, especially during synchronization.

Release Notes: This release has blocker checking, which refers the user to a more experienced Gentoo user to be fixed. It has also been brought up-to-date with the new categories that the Portage team has created for antivirus programs, email spam filters, and more. The install/uninstall/upgrade page has gained a new feature: links to the individual page of each package affected by the action.

Release Notes: This release includes many huge changes to the underlying code. First of all, it no longer requires KDE, and it can be used with any browser. You must now access it at http://localhost:6732/. emerge logs are available after you perform an action, and there is a by-filename package search. It is important to note that any logged-in user on the local machine has root privileges in regard to remerge without needing the root password. This has drastic security implications and must be dealt with accordingly.
