PSF Tools

The PSF Tools are a set of utilities for manipulation of console fonts in PSF (PC Screen Font) format. It can be used to convert to and from other font formats.

    Release Notes: Support has been added for conversion to and from BBC Micro soft fonts (sequences of VDU23 codes). Corrections have been made to the PPCGREEK and PPC860 codepages.

      Release Notes: PSF files can now be converted to and from Wyse-60 soft fonts, and to BSD 'wsfont' kernel headers.

        Release Notes: A crashing bug has been fixed in psfxform when writing PSF1 files. The DOS CPI loader now supports CPI files (such as EGA.ICE) that contain pointers in segment:offset form.

          Release Notes: Custom codepage mapping tables can now be used in all utilities. The built-in mapping tables for some codepages were missing characters; this has been corrected.

            Release Notes: More options have been added to psfxform, giving several methods of converting characters from one size to another. The various changes made by psfxform (bold, thin, scale, etc.) can be applied to subsets of the font rather than to all characters.
