Passepartout is a GTK-based Desktop Publishing application. It features layout templates, an XML- based typesetting engine called xml2ps, user- defined text formatting with XSLT stylesheets, support for importing EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files and almost any raster images, text running around image (or text) frames, and printing to PostScript and EPS.

    Release Notes: This release has been built against gtkmm-2.4, libgnomecanvasmm-2.6, and libsigc++-2.0. It uses the new FileChooserDialog, and offers full screen mode and the ability to control scaling and shearing.

        Release Notes: This release uses libgnomecanvasmm for on-screen rendering. The display is updated faster and without flickering, and rotated objects of all types are now displayed correctly. Both the Object Properties and the Text Streams windows now use "auto-apply" semantics. A bug leaking file descriptors has been fixed.
