PowerFolder is a free tool to synchronize, backup, transfer, access, and share files over the Internet or a local network. It can be used to exchange any type of data. PowerFolder can automatically detect and synchronize the changes between local and remote files. PowerFolder uses peer-to-peer technology to exchange the files. PowerFolder also offers a secure online storage service and is easy to set up.

    Release Notes: Various improvements to reduce CPU and I/O usage. Configuration can now be the same for all users on a computer. This release correctly migrates configuration/settings from 3.X version on upgrade to version 4. There are various bugfixes.

      Release Notes: A major connectivity improvement was made so that the router/port forwarding setup procedure is no longer required. A UDP/UDT network protocol that pierces a router or firewall is supported. Relayed connections over the PowerFolder servers are supported. A CSV filelist writer was added only to the PRO version.
