Power Daemon

Power Daemon (powerd) is a daemon that can monitor a UPS and safely shut down the machine when the power is out. It can also notify other power daemons running on the network that the power is out, so they may also safely shutdown. It can automatically determine the UPS and cable configurations.

            I love this!
It works with my Fred Flintstone Tripplite BC500LAN that
a friend gave to me and I refurbished.
Found info on building a cable, downloaded the RPM
and installed it on all my machines.

I Set the peer configs on the other boxes and BAM!
Everything works perfect! Far easier than I was hoping
for as most things are hell for me.

Kudos to these folks for an excellent product perfectly
            suited for idiots like me...
