Pop3eye is a POP3 email notifier. It can be placed in a "dock", or use a regular or undecorated popup window. Regular expressions are used to filter email. It can display up to 20 partial lines of the email body in a tooltip window. It can monitor and display an unlimited number of accounts. You can choose to show messages using regular expressions, or delete messages from the server.

    Release Notes: A memory leak has been fixed. Retrieval to a local file and deleting email messages from the server can be done to all accounts simultaneously with Shift-Right-Click.

      Release Notes: This release can check multiple POP 3 accounts simultaneously. You can mark individual email messages for deletion from the server or for retrieval to a local file. Custom images may be used for main and tooltip background. Many more enhancements and fixes.

        Release Notes: This version fixed a bug where under some conditions the program reported an incorrect count of deleted emails.

          Release Notes: The keywords border-color and border-width have been added. tooltip-bg-pattern has been changed to hold an XPM filename. A small delay has been added before popping up a tooltip. There are two minor bugfixes.

            Release Notes: This release has undergone a major reworking of email filtering. You can filter on any header line with multiple regular expressions. All colors and fonts are configurable. You can even have a pattern for the tooltip background. Previously retrieved email messages are not retrieved again. Retrieving is done in a separate thread and headers are displayed as they come in.
