Poll Central

Poll Central is a database-driven, web-based polling software that uses Perl and MySQL. Current features include the ability for new users to sign up for an account, a comprehensive voting interface, easy to use web administration, and a user comment area.

    Release Notes: Poll Central now checks to make sure that the vote cast is a valid choice. An error that corrupted the password for new users when they confirmed if encrypted passwords were being used has been fixed.

      Release Notes: The ability to easily toggle whether results can be viewed before voting was added. User's passwords can now be encrypted within the database.

        Release Notes: A user preferences section was added, where users can change their password, and subscribe/unsubscribe from notification emails.

          Release Notes: A major security update fixing an incredibly stupid bug that would allow users to vote more than once if they signed in using a different capitalization on their username than when they signed up.

            Release Notes: Updates include a fixed typo in pollmanagement.tmpl. More importantly, URL redirection escaping has been fixed, which previously produced really weird errors if you used characters like '&' in your poll name.
