phpMyCatalog is a program to catalog the contents of CDs, DVDs, or just directories on a hard drive automatically. It stores the data in a MySQL database, from which users can search for specific files or other contents to locate documents, music, programs, etc.

    Release Notes: This release includes a French translation. Documentation is now available in a LaTeX (.tex) file that can be used to generate a PDF or PS file for those who prefer that format to HTML.

      Release Notes: Advanced cataloging options are now available: you can catalog only directories or files bigger than a given size to avoid cataloging too many unnecessary files. A help section has been added with links to documentation, bug reports, and feature requests. You can now delete catalogs. There are documentation improvements, especially in the installation section. The program now tells the user which directory is passing the recursion limit, making it easier to decide whether to keep the catalog. Visualization improvements and more catalog categories have been added.

        Release Notes: Database structure changes were made to field names (programming needs) and field size (trying to get database size smaller). A migration SQL file is provided for those who have the database already full. Advanced Search features were added (by type of catalog, type of file, file size, or file last modification date). Size formatting is done during both showing and entering advanced search. Some bugfixes were also made.

          Release Notes: Database structure changes, more error message translations, directory structure changes, separation of show_file and show_catalog functions in the library to allow future "show format" choosing, ability to delete ("unadd") a catalog if you are not happy the the messages showed during cataloging, and some bugixes.
