      Release Notes: pam_sotp did not work unless the option pw_lifespan was specified in the PAM service configuration file. There are some improvements to the documentation.

        Release Notes: A bug that prevented DB creation as root was fixed. Documentation is now available in docbook format. Support for compiling as a static PAM module was added. pam_sotp no longer asks for a password if the database is exhausted (no new passwords left) and all older passwords have expired. otppasswd error messages and password handling were improved.

          Release Notes: Major code cleanup and some feature improvements. The authentication database has been redesigned; now it should be architecture-independent. The password lifespan feature has been enhanced. The hash algorithm used is now SHA1. The otppasswd is now SGID shadow instead of SUID root.

            Release Notes: Some bugfixes. Support for limited time passwords. New options: fail_delay and pw_lifespan. An autoconf build system. Documentation has been converted to HTML. Initial syslog support has been added.
