openSCADA Project

openSCADA is a Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition System. It is platform independent and based on a modern system design that provides security and flexibility at the same time. It is flexible. It is not an out of the box solution, but a set of tools that can be combined in many different ways. It provides development libraries, interface applications, mass configuration tools, and front-end and back-end applications. It is used 24/7 in several installations around this world.     Release Notes: Highlights: moved to Eclipse 3.8.1, Debian packages, a new protocol (NGP), and a time series chart (INFINITY). Many new features, alarm demoting, proxying of another master server, customizable alarm styles, and many small bugfixes.

      Release Notes: This version has a working editor for the CA system, including a form-based editor for some of the configuration factories. The project "Dakara" contains the new visualization features, and the application "OSVI" bundles this to a read to run application that only requires the configuration to be installed using the Eclipse P2 update system. For Windows, a specific "ready to run" MSI driver package has been added. The arduino protocol was enhanced and cleaned up. Many bugfixes, performance enhancements, and cleanups have been made.

        Release Notes: This release features lots of minor fixes in all areas. All modules were updated to compile with Java 6, which is now the default. All builds have been upgraded to use Eclipse 3.6.1 modules. A new WAR file of mass configuration was added, which allows system integrators to create configurations using spreadsheet based input. The login system introduced in OpenSCADA 0.15.0 was extended to let other implementations join the login session and the lifecycle of the session. The user logs in using one dialog and all implementations are connected at the same time.

          Release Notes: This release has many new features and enhancements to existing functionality. The interfaces and the reference implementation were cleaned up a little bit. The new upstream version of Utgard was added.

            Release Notes: Beside lots of minor changes, fixes, and improvements, the major enhancements in this release are a new communicator adapter based on the ICE framework, a generalized client interface which is independent of connector implementations, and an adapter which can connect to OPC DA servers.
