openQRM is a data-center management and cloud computing platform. Its fully pluggable architecture focuses on automatic, rapid, and appliance-based deployment, monitoring, high-availability, cloud computing, and especially on supporting multiple virtualization technologies. openQRM is a single-management console for a complete IT infrastructure and provides a well-defined API which can be used to integrate third-party tools as additional plugins.

    Release Notes: This release introduces a completely new, intuitive Web interface design and datacenter dashboard. A new hybrid cloud plugin allows the user to transfers system loads to Amazon AWS and Eucalyptus, including automated application deployment and monitoring. The improved virtualization support now supports integrating existing VMWare ESX and Libvirt hosts easily. For KVM virtual machines, GlusterFS is now natively supported directly through the GlusterFS block driver.

      Release Notes: This minor release fixes a bug that prevented dhcpd/DNS from starting correctly on Ubuntu systems.

        Release Notes: This release includes minor updates of the packaging build system. Additionally, minor release numbers have been implemented, and the Suse/OpenSuse Linux distribution was added to the list of official supported operating systems of openQRM.

          Release Notes: The complete openQRM Server UI has been rewritten according to a model-view controller concept (available in English and German). All openQRM Plugins have been rewritten, and have major feature and functional enhancements. The Cloud Computing Portal has been redesigned and is now available in the following translations: English, German, Spanish, Dutch, French, and Italian. Active-Events has been implemented to show background activities. A full featured openQRM command-line client was added.

            Release Notes: The VMware vSphere/ESX support in openQRM was rewritten and now natively manages VMware ESX(i) hosts and guests via the VMware vSphere/ESX API. A new "install-from-template" workflow now allows you to use openQRM as the Cloud Computing Engine for existing Cobbler, FAI, LinuxCOE, and/or Opsi environments.
