openPLM is a Web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) application. It provides a configuration management system that manages all kind of files and data as documents in a product structure. It supports documents, parts, BOMs, part-document links, electronic signatures for objects, revision management, check in and check out for all files, plain text search using the Xapian engine, navigation between objects using Graphviz, and user management that allows sponsorship, delegation, and rights. Plug-ins are available for Thunderbird, OpenOffice/LibreOffice, FreeCAD, and Gedit.

    Release Notes: New login and home pages, new buttons, toolbars, and icons based on the Twitter bootstrap standard, enhanced search, improved file upload and download, full screen mode for Navigate and 3D viewer, the ability to write formatted texts and documents using wiki syntax, and assembly promotion in two clicks. Users can now add an avatar. There were also several other enhancements.

          Release Notes: This release improves STEP file decomposition, adds 3D Zoom-in/Zoom-out, displays BOM with only official parts, includes a new lifecycle, adds new Home, Search, and Create pages, provides navigation Zoom-in/Zoom-out, includes a Chinese translation, improves the user interface, and fixes bugs.
