nload is a console application which monitors network traffic and bandwidth usage in real time. It visualizes the in- and outgoing traffic using two graphs. It also provides additional information, such as the total amount of transfered data and the min/max network usage.

    Release Notes: This release fixes a bug with newer Linux kernels using 64-bit byte counters, which caused displayed traffic to increase by 4GB on every screen refresh.

      Release Notes: Calculation of traffic and data units was fixed. A memory leak in BSD network device detection has been removed. A workaround for buggy ncurses 5.8 has been implemented.
