Ninf-G is a reference implementation of the Grid Remote Procedure Call (GridRPC) system for distributed computing resources, providing a high level mechanism for developing Grid-enabled applications. It is implemented over the Globus Toolkit.

    Release Notes: GT5 GRAM can be used for RPC. The FORTRAN Client API has been added. Invoke Server SSH_Condor has been added. Memory alignment of argument data can be specified.

      Release Notes: This release adds support for Globus Toolkit 4.2. The Invoke Server NAREGISS now utilizes the bulk job capability of NAREGI SS for initialization of function/object handles. GCC4.2 compatibility bugs, session information timestamps, and the MDS4 default path have been fixed. HP Alpha/Tru64 UNIX, MIPS/IRIX, and IA64/Linux have been marked as deprecated.

        Release Notes: This release removes the dependency on any specific middleware. It adds the ability to use middleware for information services.
