Nexus is a new operating system for trustworthy computing. It can take advantage of Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) to issue trustworthy certificates of program properties. It provides user-level device drivers, isolated protection domains, interprocess communication, and partial POSIX support. It runs on x86 hardware.

    Release Notes: No visible changes were made, but many bugs were fixed and code was moved from the kernel into userspace drivers.

      Release Notes: This is a prerelease of a major version of the OS. Nexus can now run standard Python and Lighttpd, supports FAT32 disks and embeds a tpm emulator, among many other changes. There are still a few kinks, so expect one or two revisions before the major version.

        Release Notes: This is the first public release, both as a bootable CD image and source tarball. This version can run some applications (such as MPlayer) and takes control of the TPM. It does not yet perform any access control checks.
