newsPro mail

newsPro is a Web interface for newsletters/announcements. Users can include their email address in the database, and they will receive email newsletters sent by this script. It is available in English, German, and Russian. In contrast to other similar scripts, no SQL is needed for newsPro.

    Release Notes: The problem where the software sometimes stopped when sending many email messages has been fixed.

      Release Notes: The handling of end-of-lines in messages sent by Windows clients, a problem with some crypt implementations and passwords, and a bug with Perl's taint mode have been fixed.

        Release Notes: The last-cookie bug was finally fixed, since the last fix did not work. All sample HTML files were translated into English, making the program more fully localized.

          Release Notes: An 8-bit translation bug was fixed through the addition of 8-bit content encoding support. This is important for characters such as the Euro symbol. The "last-cookie-bug" was fixed. This bug made NewsPro mail unusable whenever more than one cookie was sent to the cookie-domain.
