Network-I is a network analyzer, comprising a fast sniffer (niftap) with a powerful filtering language and a suite of tools to process the captured packets. The possibilities range from the straightforward display of captured packets in exhaustive detail (or alternatively, as one-line summaries) to measurement of traffic rates (which can be recorded to file or displayed in real-time via the GUI) and automated reports on packet retransmissions and losses.
