Projects / MyPhotoAlbum

MyPhotoAlbum is a simple, small, easy to use web photo album. It allows the user to create albums/categories and upload pictures with titles and comments, and keep the albums in several languages simultaneously. The title and comments are stored in plain text files. No database server is needed. MyPhotoAlbum uses CSS for its web formatting to have maximum control over its look and feel. It has a main screen that shows the photo albums. On each album screen, thumbnails with titles and comments are displayed. Clicking on the thumbnail will display a pop-up with the picture full-size.

I have used your photoalbum for a couple years now, and I agree, the old guestbook was not very useful. One thing I was wondering, (and I'll probably add this to my copy) is with the upload, I liked the old resize image function. I'm going to hack at this a little bit and try to get it to work, and also selecting whether it's a portrait or landscape shot. Other than that, keep up the good work. Version2 is great.

            It's simple and cool
works without ImageMagick. but It would be wonderful if it could support sth like uploading multiple files. or just let me cp files into the picture dir and issue a cmd to gen thumbnails and the .db file.
