mussort is a simple tool that sorts a music collection. It recursively searches a directory for MP3 and OGG Vorbis files, processing them one by one. It then reads the information from the file and puts them into a newly-sorted directory tree.

    Release Notes: Caching is now enabled by default. This release adds FLAC support and improved id3v1 tag support. It adds an option to enforce consistent directory names (regardless of casing used in tags). It keeps duplicate files by default instead of discarding them (the old behavior is available as an option). It adds support for multi-disc albums. There are various speedups and minor improvements.

      Release Notes: This release adds optional file information caching (greatly increasing speed when running on large music collections), improved dependency checking and case-insensitive sorting, a --compilation mode in which mussort will attempt to auto-detect compilation albums (and sort accordingly), various major optimizations, and some code cleanup.
