mplayerplug-in is a plugin for Mozilla to play videos embedded in a Web page. It uses Mplayer to process the video.

    Release Notes: enable_mp3 is now properly initialized to be enabled. A JavaScript src attribute was added. A GTK size request exception was eliminated. Alternate parsing of RAM files is possible. The Spanish translation was updated. qtsrc locations were made to work, which makes some Apple sites work. Support was added for realmedia pnm:// streaming media. The volume can be turned down by pressing 9 and up by pressing 0. The ability to set the onClick callback via a JavaScript method was added.

      Release Notes: A GTK1 compile error was fixed. g_main_* is not called from a thread. The pt_BR translation was updated. Additional Windows MIME types were added. The buffering message is only updated once per second. A segfault which occurred when a null filename is passed was fixed. A Turkish translation was added. An invalid pointer reference was fixed. gtk_set_size_request warnings was fixed. The Slovak translation was updated. A patch for PARAM elements was implemented. Support for autohref embed commands was added.

          Release Notes: ASX file handling has been improved. A problem with href videos (Apple HD sites) has been fixed. There is a fix for xv output in Mplayer. SetVolume and GetVolume Javascript methods have been implemented. Vvolume control using the mouse wheel has been added. There is initial support for the video/x-flv MIME type. The video/3gpp MIME type has been added. FLAC audio support has been added.
