MPD is a netgraph-based PPP implementation for FreeBSD. It supports thousands of Sync, Async, PPTP, L2TP, PPPoE, TCP, and UDP links in client, server, and access concentrator (LAC/PAC/TSA) modes. It is very fast and functional.

    Release Notes: Framed-Netmask RADIUS attribute support was added. Reporting of peer MAC address and interface to AAA was added. IPv6 support was added for Tee and DialOnDemand. "set iface addrs" is now able to set IPv6 addresses. Processing of routes with a netmask of was fixed. The "create link" command syntax check was fixed. Performance improvements: Netgraph management was completely rewritten, so 6 sockets per daemon are now used to communicate with netgraph instead of 4 sockets per link. Internal memory management was rewritten.
