mousikos is a portable audio/music player manager for GNOME. It will support on-the-fly bit-rate peeling (Ogg to Ogg), re-encoding of MP3s and Oggs, and is based on playlists. It is designed to be able to support various types of portable music players.

    Release Notes: Many improvements were made to the hotlist manager. More work was done on Prefs. The Author and Description now change when the player-type option menu changes. Support was added for "opening" complete directories to the m3u list by selecting a directory name instead of a file during an "open" operation. Directories are now recursively added. Support for disk-like mountable devices was added.

      Release Notes: Cut, copy, and paste now work in the playlist pane. Support for m3u files was added, along with basic support for hotlist functions, which give quick access to playlists through the menus.
