MeVisLab

MeVisLab is a platform for image processing research and development with a focus on medical imaging. It allows fast integration and testing of new algorithms and the development of application prototypes that can be used in clinical environments. Beside general image processing algorithms and visualization tools, MeVisLab includes advanced medical imaging modules for segmentation, registration, volumetry, and quantitative morphological and functional analysis.

    Release Notes: A new OutputInspector was added, which features data dependent viewers and is extensible for user data types. Giga Voxel Render was improved, including slab rendering on SoView2D and transparent geometry rendering. Updated and new Winged Edge Mesh (WEM) modules were added. SoDepthPeelRenderer offers transparent geometry rendering of unsorted meshes. Many new and improved modules were added. Fixes were made for bugs that have been reported by users. New versions of ITK and VTK integration were also released.

      Release Notes: An improved 3D volume renderer, many new image processing modules, alpha Itk/Vtk bindings, better scripting support for Python and JavaScript, and examples for image processing module development.
