Localis is a phpmapscript implementation (using Mapserver) intended to provide an easy end user workspace and frontend. PHP scripts links a MySQL database and classic arcview-type files (.dbf, .shp, and geotiff or any format support by MapServer). MapFR is a set of maps of france with all cities for test use with Localis. EasyMapServer is a simple shell script that downloads and compile gdal, php and mapserver for use with Localis.

    Release Notes: A feature has been added to enable user interaction on georeferenced layers feeding. Most changes are internal, though.

          Release Notes: MapFR is a set of standard maps and data about France. 36000 geolocalized cities are included in a MySQL dump ready for use with Localis or Mapserver.

            Release Notes: A lot of minor bugs about navigation and links are now fixed. A new feature enables user input on the map by a click. Multilingual capability was added (with a Spanish translation included), and general MySQL work for data search was done.
