Linux Multimedia Box

Linux Multimedia Box is an application for building multimedia Linux based devices, similar to a PVR or set top box. XML is used for describing the user interface, and events and callbacks are in embedded Tcl. lmbox also provides the ability to watch movies and listen to music from the Internet, via direct links or using RSS feeds.

    Release Notes: A lot of GUI events were added. Sub-windows were added that can act as context menus. A video player continue problem has been fixed.

      Release Notes: Mouse support has been improved, specifically for Gyration mouse as a remote control. XML parser, TTF fonts, and Images support have been incorporated into the main sources, so there are no external dependencies anymore. The mosaic movie page has been added, which shows icons in a grid-like manner.

        Release Notes: One more memory leaked has been fixed. An ICQ client page was added. lmbox can act as an ICQ contact now. ICQ messages are shown on the screen, and CallerID messages are forwarded to configured ICQ accounts.

          Release Notes: A huge memory leak was fixed. HTTP URL retrieval has been improved. Tcl modules support has been improved.
