Release Notes: This patch prevents the multi-part post-processor from going into the error state when the input buffer is full and the current token just changes processor state without consuming any data. Also, the original implementation would not consume any input if there was no new line character in sight. This version includes a few minor code and documentation cleanups.

Release Notes: This release fixes a bug that could result in busy waiting for applications using libmicrohttpd in external select mode after a client terminated an upload prematurely.

Release Notes: This release adds support for nested multipart uploads and fixes minor bugs in the POST-form parser implementation. It also allows clients to limit the number of concurrent connections from the same IP address. MHD no longer allows pipelining of requests other than GET and HEAD. Finally, connections are now closed properly if the application signals a problem with handling the request.

Release Notes: This release adds support for "chunked" encodings (both upload and download thereof). It also gives clients more control over handling of "100 CONTINUE" messages. This release also fix a minor bug with respect to pipelined requests. The register-handler methods were removed since they were deemed unnecessary.

Release Notes: This release fixes an off-by-one in HTTP status code text error message selection. The new code should no longer generate SIGPIPE signals (on platforms that support this). A bug causing problems with processing of POST requests with "Connection: close" headers was fixed. A (very rare) data race causing connection drops in multi-threaded mode was resolved.

Release Notes: This release fixes two minor bugs. Specifically, URL arguments containing certain format strings were not parsed correctly, and the HTTP response lacked the status message.

Release Notes: This release extends the API in various ways. Clients can now associate state with a request and be notified about request completion (due to timeout, error, or success). New functions for incrementally parsing and handling POST data were added. Compile errors under OS X and a few minor bugs were fixed. The license was changed to the LGPL.

Release Notes: This release changes one function in the API (breaking backwards compatibility) in order to allow users to specify the size of I/O buffers. It also allows users to (optionally) specify after what number of seconds connections should be automatically timed out. Error handling and reporting in the code as well as the documentation are also improved. The license was changed to the Lesser GNU Public License (LGPL).

Release Notes: This release fixes a potential crash during handling of pipelined requests. It also fixes problems with handling of responses created from callbacks. Furthermore, the code now only sends a "100 continue" header when specifically requested by the client. The documentation was improved and an example for how to write a simple fileserver was added.
