Release Notes: This is the first stable release of libgksu after the libgksu 1.2.x series. It brings lots of the enhancements that were done to the gksu application into the library, a much better and simpler API, a more robust approach to some of its processes, and improved security.

Release Notes: This release includes new APIs to provide some functionality which is mainly important for the gksu application. A new "description" property was added to GksuContext, so you can give the command a nice name for gksu to display instead of the binary path. Some changes done by Ubuntu people to the UI were also integrated.

Release Notes: This version is a full redesign of the architecture and API; hopefully the last big overhaul. It improves security by holding the password for less time, and improves usability by easing the API and making some implementations simpler and more sane.

Release Notes: This version removes the gnome-keyring support from the library, since this was decided to be done at the application level. It also features new public API functions which make a new hook available through a new callback function: you can do something when the library finally notices a password was not needed inside the run() functions.

Release Notes: The library now provides a new way of calling the command which lets you specify a callback function to request the password to the user if needed and with the prompt printed by su instead of the default of "Prompt: ". Some small parts of the code were refactored and should be a bit more robust for su functionality at least.

Release Notes: This release supports checking whether a password is really necessary. This will be done through numerous checks, but starts with gnome-keyring in this version.
