Laffer is a Web-based instant messenger client. It supports ICQ, MSN, AOL, Yahoo, Jabber, and other messenger networks. Laffer is written in HTML and JavaScript, and it uses DOM 1.2 and PHP. Laffer is capable of exchanging text messages, contact list visualization, presence status visualization, and getting information about the user. No file, audio, or video exchange is supported at the moment.

    Release Notes: This release adds a Portuguese (Brazilian) translation. The ICQ protocol handler has been improved.

          Release Notes: The Web client interface has a German translation. The nasty 'disconnect often without a reason' bug is squashed. There are minor code clean-ups. Everyone using is advised to upgrade.

            Release Notes: The way Laffer behaves when disconnected from remote IM servers was improved. The way the Web client handles multiple logins was improved. A new, experimantal, non-forking IM Proxy Server was added.
