kmenc15
kmenc15 is an MEncoder frontend, generally designed to be a VirtualDub replacement for Linux. It is most useful for editing and encoding large, high-quality AVIs capped from TV. It allows cutting and merging at exact frames, applying any MPlayer/MEncoder filter, with previews. It does not support opening MPEGs.

Release Notes: This version features major speed optimizations, with far fewer processes necessary for encoding. The code re-write is almost complete, and is more modular. There is more robustness against bad user input, portability was improved, and there were some small bugfixes and improvements to the Makefile.

Easy to use GUI. Useful. Some features are missing, but it may be hard to keep up with new features of mencoder.
