KaTeker is a backup tool for Linux useful for small companies and private people. It saves data onto hard disk and CDs or other random access media. It provides a graphical user interface, a database with information on the media and the data saved onto the media. It supports incremental backup, periodical backup, and restoring files.

    Release Notes: KaTeker may now be installed simply with one click. No other software has to be downloaded or installed anymore. The GUI has been redesigned to be more powerful and intuitive. The set up is guided and more automated. Restoring data is supported by the GUI. KaTeker supports tar and dar archives.
